Use the watermark feature in Microsoft Word XP to insert clip art images.
You can use clip art from your Graphics Factory Memberships to add a personal touch to your Word documents. A well chosen image can add polish to a flyer, menu, card, report, or other document. Graphics Factory Memberships have many different images for you to choose from. This tutorial is intended for Graphics Factory Members, if you're not a Graphics Factory member you can join here.
1. Members login and in the Search box at the top of the screen, type the keyword or exact phrase that describes the subject of the image you’re looking for.
2.Select Clip Art next to the Search box and click Search!
3. Once you find an image you like, download it into A folder on your computer.
4. Open your Word document. On the Format menu, point to Background and then click Printed Watermark.
5. Click Picture Watermark, and uncheck the Washout button. You may want to use the Washout button, it will make the image faded so you can read the text better.
6. Click Select Picture and browse to the folder you saved your image in.
7. Select the Image that you downloaded earlier and click Insert and then OK. Your image will appear in your Word document.

You may need to adjust your margins before you begin creating your project to make sure your text is visible and easy to read on the image.
