This is one of the most asked questions we get at Graphics Factory. We'll explain the process for Outlook Express and Juno, but it should work pretty much the same for other Email programs.

How-To- Add Images To Outlook Express

STEP 1
Open Outlook Express and click the New Mail button from the upper left corner, just like your going to create a new message.

STEP 2
Now go to format at the top right next to tools and click it, then make sure you have Rich Text (HTML) selected. If you don't then click it and it will be selected for you.

STEP 3
Now you're ready to add your image(s) to your e-mail message. Click in the body of the message where you would say Hello, etc... and then click the last little icon on the bar right below the subject line. The icon will have a little mountain and sun on it. Click that icon and then click the browse button.

Or you can go to Insert at the top and select Insert Picture...

NOTE:
If you don't see the mountain icon you may need to change the format of your letter. To change the format go to Format and select Rich Text (HTML).

STEP 4
Now you just have to find the image from your hard drive that you want to use. Find your image and click open, then click OK.

STEP 5
Your image will now be in the body of your e-mail message for all of your friends to see.

P.S. The larger the file you send the longer it will take to send. Unless you and the person your e-mailing has a fast internet connection don't send files over 1MB.

Juno Instructions
In Juno 5.0, instead of attaching an image to a message, you can insert the image directly into the body of your message. In order for the image to display properly, the person you're sending it to must have an HTML-compatible e-mail program. If the person can't receive HTML e-mail, the image is contained in the message as an attachment.
To insert an image into a message:
  1. Place the insertion point in your message.

  2. On the Edit menu, point to Insert in Message and then click Image.

  3. In the Insert Image dialog box, under Image Source, type the path or Internet address (URL) that points to the image file (usually files that end in *.bmp, *.gif, *.jpg, or *.png) you want to insert, or click Browse to locate the image.

  4. Click Preview Image to view the image before you insert it.

  5. If you are satisfied with the image, click OK.
This should work the same way for just about all e-mail programs.
