 Rectangular marquee tool.It is used to trace rectangular and square shapes. To obtain a square hold the shift key while dragging the cursor.  Elliptical marquee tool.It is used to create elliptical and circle shapes.To create a circle hold the shift key while dragging the cursor.  Single row marquee tool.It will trace one horizontal pixel width line using the foreground color you chose.  Single column marquee tool.It will trace one vertical pixel width line using the foreground color you chose.  Crop tool.Use is to extract a piece of a picture or a photograph. For each marquee tool a option window will appear. It might be slightly different for each marquee tool. Under the style drop down bar you have three option. Normal : it let you make random sizes. Constrained aspect ratio : it will create a shape using the ratio you enter in the width and height boxes. Fixed size : it will create the shape the size you enter in the width and height boxes. |
